Failed Kamikaze Frank

In  Japanese culture there is a long  tradition of death before defeat. It is a primary tradition of Samurai life.
There  was a movie with Tom Cruise  all about the Samurai.
The Samurai were the official tax collectors for the State back in the day.
There was a lot of fighting.
I  don't  think  Tom Cruise  got to  understand the tradition  at all. 

Japan only started using Kamikaze Pilots  as a last defence to the mainlands   late in the war , when they were short of  good pilots and weaponry. If the information is true , only seven US ships were sunk by the Kamikaze planes.

 The reality of the Nuclear strikes,  is that they quickly ended the war and in the long term saved more lives  than they took.

Japan and all Japanese people  are part of the western world now,  but traditions are not lost or forgotten.
